Microdermaplaning
This procedure is a "mechanical" type peel similar to Microdermabrasion, but it also removes fine hair. A blade is taken across the skin surface removing dead surface cells and fine hair. The procedure is suitable for patients using Retin A or a strong skin care product whose skin is too sensitive for waxing which could result in irritated abrasions. A microdermaplaning procedure takes about 30 minutes. Skin care products are then applied to enhance the treatment. Following the procedure, patients may be pink with a radiant glow.
