Microdermabrasion
A flow of fine crystals with applied vacuum suction results in a very gentle "sandblasting" of the skin, removing dead surface cells and clearing the pores of debris. Over time and treatments, pigment fades away and surface irregularities, such as fine wrinkles and acne scars, begin to soften. The procedure of the face takes about 30 minutes. Skin care products are then applied to enhance the treatment. Patients may be pink the rest of the day but there is generally no flaking or peeling afterward. Treatment is also offered in packages.
