Laser Hair Removal
Laser light is delivered to the base of the unwanted hair to damage the growing source or follicle. Since not all follicles are in the same growth stage at the same time, this procedure usually takes several treatments and should be scheduled 6 to 8 weeks apart for optimal results. Darker, coarser hair is more responsive to laser treatment. Blonde, gray or red hair, and hair that is fine in texture may respond, but to a lesser degree. Treatment can only reduce hair growth, and does not permanently remove hair. However, with each treatment the hair grows back lighter and finer. Depending on your hair type and skin, periodic touch ups or maintenance may be necessary.
